Google LSA (Local Services Ads)
Google Local Services Ads is the pay-per-lead ad product where Google sends qualified leads (calls and messages) to verified local service businesses. LSA leads come from Google search and Maps; pricing is per-lead, not per-impression or per-click.
Why it matters
Google LSA is the dominant paid-acquisition channel for many service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electricians, lawyers, locksmiths). Pricing is per-lead instead of per-click, and Google does the qualification: only leads who explicitly click "Call this business" or "Message this business" show up.
LSA changed the calculus for service businesses. Pre-LSA, paid Google ads cost per click and most clicks did not convert; cost-per-acquired-customer was hard to predict. Post-LSA, the cost is per qualified lead and the conversion math is more visible.
The bottleneck for most LSA-running businesses is response time. LSA leads come in as live phone calls or text messages; if the business does not answer within minutes, the lead is gone. Google's "Google Guarantee" badge that LSA businesses display is partially a response-time signal. Speed matters.
For AI agent products, the LSA integration is straightforward in shape but operationally important. The agent answers the LSA-generated call (or text) immediately, qualifies the lead, books the job. The lead-to-booking rate goes up dramatically vs the human-receptionist-when-available baseline.
How Ajeris handles this
Ajeris's business agent connects to Google LSA via OAuth (in the integration list). LSA-generated leads route to the same voice receptionist and SMS handler the rest of the business uses. The agent has access to the user's LSA dashboard data; reporting flows back so the user can see "this lead was an LSA lead" alongside the conversion record.
Speed-to-lead on LSA traffic is the agent's default behavior; calls connect immediately, texts get replies within seconds.
