Skill catalog
A curated library of pre-built skills users can install in their agent. Skills are tools the agent picks up: 'send a weekly recap,' 'qualify a lead,' 'reorder your usual coffee.' The catalog is the alternative to teaching every skill yourself.
Why it matters
Personal skills (what the agent learns from watching you) are the floor; the catalog is the lift. New users do not have to teach the agent everything. They install the relevant pack and get 10-15 skills ready to go. Companies that want every employee's agent to handle a specific workflow the same way publish one workspace skill and standardize.
Catalog skills are opt-in. The agent does not auto-install based on inferred user shape; the user picks. This is intentional: a horizontal product cannot make assumptions about which industry pack a user wants.
How Ajeris handles this
The catalog has ~80 skills across 8 categories (productivity, finance, smart-home, business CS, industry packs, developer tools, compliance, fitness). Each skill declares required tools and version. Installation is one sentence ("install the weekly-team-checkin skill"). Personal skills override catalog defaults when they conflict; catalog skills can be patched in plain English without affecting other users.
