Push to phone
The agent's tool for delivering content to the user's phone via SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Used for follow-up links during voice calls, reminders during long-running tasks, and any moment where the active surface is not the right place to land an artifact.
Why it matters
Voice agents have a specific structural problem: they cannot deliver links. The user is on a phone call; the agent has just looked something up; the result is a URL the user needs in their pocket. Reading the URL aloud does not work. The fix is push-to-phone: the agent fires an SMS or WhatsApp message with the link as the call continues.
The pattern generalizes beyond voice. A long-running task that finishes when the user is on Alexa might push the result to the phone for later review. A calendar invite generated mid-conversation lands on the phone where the user can tap-to-add.
How Ajeris handles this
Push to phone is a built-in MCP tool the agent invokes when the active channel is not the right surface for an artifact. It uses the user's preferred channel (SMS by default; configurable to WhatsApp or Telegram). Deep links in the pushed content are preserved verbatim. The push is logged in the agent's audit trail.
